The firm was established in 1935 by Glen W. Swenson.
In 1967, Glen was joined by his nephew, Douglas A. Schroeppel. At that time, Glen W. Swenson was a County Attorney and Douglas A. Schroeppel was the Assistant County Attorney. In 1972, Swenson left the firm to become a District Judge.
After retiring as District Judge, Mr. Swenson rejoined the firm and continued to practice law until his death in 2000.
Douglas A. Schroeppel was joined by his sons, Timothy J. Schroeppel in 1995 and Theodore T. Schroeppel joined the firm in 1996.
